“What running with the dog means to me?
My time is our time. We enjoy nature and teamwork together while looking out for one another.
We started running together with Icey in February 2018, that's when we started preparing for the April 2018 HDR Base event. I got caught up in this, we always run, whether in snow, rain, sleet or hail.
We've tried multiple sports, but it was canicross that allowed us to work together in perfect harmony. Icey is amazingly enthusiastic yet is mindful of my tiniest movements, whether during training or in a competition. He makes running a joyful experience. We push our limits constantly, even though we're not in it for the medals. We do strive to improve continuously, though. That is why we've been training together according to Edina Farkasdi's guidelines. Even if we don't pose a risk who want to win, it's still clear that all the effort, the humility and time we devoted to this are bearing fruit.
We start almost every day with a good run, that's what makes us whole.”
